Hi, I’m Ivy.

I’m originally from the woods and fields of the Midwestern US, and currently live in the cityscapes of its East Coast near Washington, DC. I’m a writer, poet, movement artist, visual and textile artist, seeker of liberation and truth, and I never say no to spending time in nature.

In a nutshell, my professional experience includes:

• Bachelor of Arts in Dance & Arts Management

• International experience living and working in South Korea and Ireland

• Balanced Body Pilates Mat 1-3 and Reformer 1 Training

• 25+ years of creative writing

• 15+ years of dance training and performance experience

• 9 years of involvement in filmmaking (dancing, acting, production coordinator, Second AC, audio)

• 8 years teaching Pilates in person and virtually

• 6 years of professional content writing

• 4 years of administration for organizations in the arts, fitness, and agriculture industries

• 3 years of costume construction and design (plus 20+ of knitting!)
