I’m Ivy & I make things using words, textiles, movement, & imagery.

I’m a citizen of the world, currently transplanted from the woods and fields of the Midwestern US to the cityscapes of its East Coast. Writing is my first love and it's seen me through many seasons of life, but I’m also a dancer, visual and textile artist, seeker of liberation and truth, and I never say no to spending time in nature.

In a nutshell, my professional experience includes:

• Bachelor of Arts in Dance & Arts Management

• International experience living and working in South Korea and Ireland

• Balanced Body Pilates Mat 1-3 Training

• 15+ years of dance training and performance experience

• 8 years teaching Pilates in person and virtually

• 6 years of professional content writing

• 4 years of administration for organizations in arts, fitness, and agriculture

• 3 years of costume construction and design (plus 20+ of knitting!)
